Nevermind, I want to keep that idea to myself and a few enterprising individuals for a bit longer.

I dont know if this has been mentioned, but I recieved the following inside an email from PP that you may wish to sticky:

With reference to your email, you can play PartyPoker.com from
Hong-Kong, South Korea and Singapore but not from Thailand. As Thailand is
considered a blocked country.

As per the deposit option available in that period you will be able to
make a deposit and play.

Please be informed, Only if you are accessing the site from outside the
United States then only you can play.

If your PartyAccount is registered with a US address, you will not be
able to place wagers on our sites, regardless of your location when
accessing your account. If your registration does not properly reflect your
address, you may contact customer service and, upon providing
verification for your new address, your registered address can be changed.

[/ QUOTE ]

In your post it seems they are saying they will block players with US resident addresses. I do not see anything about blocking ISP's. Are you assuming this because it does not seem clear to me...and i don't really want anyone to ask to put idea's in their heads either.

You can still make withdrawals to your US bank account. If your account is already funded, than you dont even need a Canadian bank account.

[/ QUOTE ]

I doubt it. They're pretty incompetent in general. Besides I doubt they'd figure out if you simply closed the old account and then signed up a new one. This is what most people did to get rakeback. Then you simply put in the new address. In fact I'd go so far as to say I'd be shocked if they figured that out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure, but would you bet 1/4-1/7 (or however much you keep on party) your bankroll they did not figure it out?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well yes and no. Yes I would if I wanted to play there, but no I wouldn't since I haven't played there for months and wouldn't be particularly interested in going back in any case.

You cannot register an account from a Thai address, and you cannot be of Thai nationality and have an account at PP. You can still play from Thailand.

www.partypoker.com was recently blocked by the Thai government's NeoConservative PM along with a few thousand other porno and harmful websites for whatever reason he saw fit, but he got otherthrown in the recent military coup anyways so that might go away in the near future.

The US fish will not be jumping through these hoops to fund their Party accounts, so I don't know why you people even bother to speculate about this stuff. Party's US traffic will be migrating to other sites, so unless you have some perverse fondness for the Party software, you should do the same.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not everyone needs a table full of fish to win.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont get it. I am not trying to start a war here, I seriously just dont get it. If you could take time from your busy day to explain your comment here, I would greatly appreciate it.

The first question I have is, if you dont greatly benefit from the value of playing with fish, then why have you in the past played at Party? It is has been one of the best sites for poor players, plus there are other sites that are cheaper to play at, are more player friendly, and generally have stiffer competition. So again, why have you played at Party in the past?

The second question, the most obvious, is why do you want to go to such lengths to keep playing at Party now? Even if you dont care about fish, still, there are sites that remain open to US players that you can play at.

[/ QUOTE ]

I said not everyone needs fish to win. How does that imply that I dont like fish or preffer to have them?

Party is the safest place to play online poker right now.

The games will still be profitable.

Party is PT, PAHUD, Hotscript friendly.

I am familiar and comfortable w/ Party software.

I have strong reads on current Party players.

I have rakeback on Party.

I want to play Monstor Tournaments.
