Re: Rep. Barney Frank, hero
So, I don't approve of drug use. As a precursor (which some will say it doesn't matter anyway)...I have never smoked, done drugs, or drank alcohol (I'm 21)....
That said...Should it be the government's control to ban drugs like marijuana? I mean I understand a little from the crime aspects...but at what point should we as a society just take responsibility for our own actions. I realize that this is an idealistic and unrealistic stance...but I don't think the government should have to regulate drugs...people just need to quit being f*cktards. |

Re: Rep. Barney Frank, hero
[ QUOTE ]
I love this speech. Problem is, he's getting way too philosophical to resonate with anyone practically. Take that whole speech and apply it to smoking crack. Almost all of it still applies. [/ QUOTE ] Youre damn right it does. |

Re: Rep. Barney Frank, hero
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Although he's left-leaning and most consider him a democrat, I think he's actually registered as an independent? [/ QUOTE ] no. there's only one independent in the House, Bernie Sanders. Barney is definitely a Democrat. BTW, Colbert did a "better know your district" on Frank. It's quite funny. here's the linky [/ QUOTE ] Ah, you're right. I keep getting those two confused, thanks. |
