Ok. I misunderstood you to be upset cause you had lost this hand. I thought you might've mistyped the board.
Good going with poker and life. you're a hero to all the peons. |

this was a pretty inspiring story. i love reading the exploits of fellow 2+2ers (despite being the noob that i am...). thanks!
being that you totally dominated the party 10 sngs to rise to your current beastly roll, do you have any advice for a guy with a $250 broll (built from $25) attempting to slowly walk your path? |

[ QUOTE ]
He open raises UTG, i 3 bet AA from the SB, he calls. The flop is Kt7 two clubs, i bet he raises, i 3 bet, he calls, Turn K, i check call. River is an offsuit Ace. I c/r, he three bets, i 4 bet, he fives bets... In this situation, my hand is so obvious, 5 betting without KK would be pretty dumb. So i called he he rolled KT. Sigh, shoot me, how do i not win in that game? [/ QUOTE ] wouldnt this make your fullhouse AAAKK while his KKKTT, thus making you the winner in this hand? |

Well, as i said at the end of the post, don't push too hard with moving up, be reasonably conservative and take a long term approach. Always try to keep learning and try new things. Master whatever your main game is at a stake level where you are adequatley rolled, and then gradually move up. By doing that, you will progress just fine. Also, always be realistic with yourself about your play, don't attribute everything to bad luck when it's not going well, always examine your game.

Correct, i did in fact win that hand. What i was saying was do well against a player who makes an error which i think is quite large, but in reality, he did pretty well against me that night.

This post has really inspired me, as another teen, to re-evaluate myself as a player and to be the best player I can be (even if it doesn't mean making 6 figures). Best wishes to your future both on and off the felt.
