Re: Book Publshing Schedule
Hey everybody. First time poster, long time lurker.
I can't wait for the No Limit book and the HOH3 book. I'm heading to Europe in June and hope these can accompany me. Funny, I've read ToP, HPFAP and SSHE, and was a little overwhelmed since they address a lot of games that I'm not interested in (razz, 5 card draw, etc.) and can be heavy on math, but I have reread them recently after reading a ton of No Limit books and see their excellence plain as day now. That's why I'm looking forward to the new books planned for May. One question: Is there any possibility at all these books will get delayed? I'm already counting the days... Thanks for any input, and glad to be here. |

Re: Book Publshing Schedule
Only one of those books addresses the non-holdem games.
FWIW - TOP was slightly more challenging for me too since I'm completely unfamiliar with how those games are supposed to be played as well. |

Re: Book Publshing Schedule
You're right. Should have included "limit" in there as a game I don't play really.

Re: Book Publshing Schedule
Any future plans on hard covers and thinner pages for easier readibility and durability, a la LGB?
Does anyone have any estimate of the extra cost for let's say 350 pg. book? I would be happy to pay 5 dollars more for any good poker book, 10 dollars for a very good book and more for a really good and thick book. I hate to see good books fall apart, and hard covers are such a nice read too. Or is it a recycling thing? Now I would guess maybe 10-20 % of poker books are sold for second hand, and if they fall apart, they can't be sold on. So ppl have to buy a new one. If enough ppl will ask for hard covers, eventually Mason has to yield. |

Re: Book Publshing Schedule
I would buy most of them again as a hard cover. Then sell the old soft covers to other fishes. Maybe give some of them to friends that might be interested to start playing the evil card game. Or better yet, sell them to friends (if I had some).

Re: Book Publshing Schedule
Mason, on a scale of 1-10 how mind blowing with NL T&P be?
Assume ToP = 9 on this scale and SSHE = 8 |
