Yeah, we had just broken through the bubble of the Pot-Limit Omaha tournament and then BAM, the game goes down.

Not sure how they handle the money payouts in these instances, if it gets split up by chip count or position or what.

And I don't know how long this crap normally lasts. Anyone with experience please chime in.

I'm in the middle of the 300k doing really well. I think this is complete BS. Why should I get 9th place money when I have a chance to win first. THis is a complete joke. Playing this tournament for 6 hours, and now it freezes with 32 left????? Next time I see a FT pro, im shooting him in the foot.

this is from full tilt's site:
If the tournament had not yet reached the money - All players still in the tournament at the time of the cancellation will be refunded their tournament buy-in and tournament fee. Players will have their buy-ins refunded in the same currency they used to enter the tournament (real money, tokens, etc.), unless they earned their entry through a satellite, in which case, they will be refunded the standard buy-in for the tournament. In addition, the buy-ins of players already eliminated from the tournament will be divided up and distributed to the remaining players, based on their chip counts. Guarantees and money added to the prize pool will not be included in the player payouts.

i hate full tilt.

edit: jaya is wrong.

You know, I (grudgingly) accept there is no super-great way to handle payouts in this kind of situation. Some ways are better than others, though (I don't know the FT line here).

What I DO NOT accept is that I have to keep launching the !#@$ing client over and over again on the off chance the site is back up and I'm getting blinded off. Can't we just have a "keep trying until it connects" checkbox or something? Sheesh.
