PECOTA says for Carl Pavano this year - 4.58 ERA, WHIP of 1.36. He went from the lightest hitting division to the best hitting one. He was absolute garbage for the Yankees before he quit baseball - I wouldn't be surprised if he underperforms that significantly, given his likely psychological issues.

disagree - he is an average pitcher, and his career record bears that out. He had one good year where he was in the NL and way overperformed his PERA - good for him. He doesn't strike enough guys out and gives up too many hits and home runs.
