Re: TT vs. WhoooooohKid
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] you don't have to raise/fold to every player at the table [/ QUOTE ] I 100 percent agree. My usual strategy is to raise there and call vs. the more aggressive and loose opponents. I usually lean towards call with unknowns. This could be a slight leak. |

Re: TT vs. WhoooooohKid
I didnt rly wanna bump this thread...
[15:10] apestyles: well i guess with 88 or 99 short stacked [15:11] apestyles: that it actually might be easier to play 88 or 99 [15:11] apestyles: since u are not worried about an over card [15:11] apestyles: u bet get it in [15:12] apestyles: so i might be disagreeing with myself |

Re: TT vs. WhoooooohKid
this conversation came up because goggles recommended i open muck 89s otb with 5k at 100/200. Basically he stated what I said in this thread and was disagreed with (and also given a lecture on game theory that hardly applies to mtts especially short stacked). Raise folding with 15-25 bbs in the 100r is generally a leak for a number of reasons imho - there are clearly exceptions but as a general rule.
edit: fwiw i actually opened the 89s and lost my stack on 9Jx board with 2 of my suit in part because of this thread... |
