[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] This 30 plus day wait for a check is beyond unacceptable. [/ QUOTE ] Why? I don't understand why everyone's bitching so much about this. It's annoying, but it's not as though they're Netellering us. I don't run a business but I'm guessing that in the Real World, if I charge a big client for something, I'm not going to necessarily get their check the next day, or even necessarily in the next week. Until the UIGEA gets repealed or neutered, this is the way life is going to be with a site that also takes sportsbets. C'est la vie. [/ QUOTE ] At what point would it be unacceptable with you? Is two or three months waiting just fine, how about 6 months?? Are you French? [/ QUOTE ] I think that was the PR dept for Bodog. Apparently the best check processor they could find wanted to charge a high payout fee, since they are a sportsbook, then gave them an cheaper option where they can hold our funds for 30 days and make 30 days of interest on our money at a lower fee. |

I know others have done this. But I will report my progress making a withdrawal using Nucharge.
1. Went to Nucharge site and created a account. (July 18 AM) 2. Linked Nucharge to my checking account. (July 18 AM 5 minutes) 3. Requested a withdraw from my checking account for $100 (July 18 AM 5 seconds) 4. Recieved email with Pin Number and control number (July 18 AM 10 minutes Cost: $3.90) 5. Went to Bodog and made a deposit of $100 from Nucharge (July 18AM 5 seconds) 6. Requested a withdraw from Bodog (July 18AM 2 hours to get email) 7. Withdraw from Bodog has shown up at Nucharge. (July 18AM I think Instantly) 8. Have not gotten $1-$2 withdraw from my checking account so that I can verify it with Nucharge (July 18 PM) 9. $100 has not yet been withdrawn from my checking account. (July 18 PM) 10. Called Nucharge. (July 18 PM) Support was friendly. Question 1: Why the money deposited to Nucharge had not been debited in my checking account? Answer: The withdraw is like a check it may take a few days to clear. Question #2 When would the small debit to my checking account happen so that I can verify my account and start the withdrawal process? Answer: This normally takes two hours some banks slightly longer. Question #3: How long does a Nucharge withdrawal to my checking acount take? Answer: 5-10 Business days. But it has been happening faster Question #4: I expect the amount of business that you are doing is going to go way up when the word gets out about this service. Are you guys able to handle it? Are support staff has just been increased to handle more load. We will see. I will keep everyone posted. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yep, you're on to me. I registered several years ago and have made about 4200 posts with the sole objective of leaping to Bodog's defense at this exact moment in time. I'll ignore the truly bizarre "Are you French?" comment and just say that there are many, many poker sites out there willing to take our business, and if it's more important to you that you get your money in a week instead of a month, knock yourself out. Frankly, getting your panties in a bunch over getting your cash 2-3 weeks later than you'd like seems counterproductive and a waste of energy. A little perspective is probably in order. I would reserve a phrase like "beyond unacceptable" for stuff like finding out you have terminal cancer but your health insurance won't pay for treatment. (Bet you'd wish you were French then, eh?) A short delay in getting $$ sent . . . annoying, yes. "Beyond unacceptable," not so much. If it were a 6-month delay, that phraseology would probably be more reasonable. |
