the sounds, the way the screen names are in those gold oval things, the handwriting on the table, the look of the cashier screen, and seeing a handful of players there that insta-tilt me based on unknown reasons. also the fact that i had stars revoke my table chat and now i can't say anything at the tables.

- only play HUHU for low stakes and never when tilting

Are you sure HU below 5/10 is even beatable? The rake is pretty much killing you isn't it?

yeah but I should be able to breakeven despite the rake, and I wansn't last month. More importantly I was losing at 5/10 HUHU although it could easily have been variance. I think this is more a comment that I have trouble with tilt control and game selection in HUHU, while I rarely tilt at 6max and have pretty good game selection. In general I need to play HUHU at lower levels for practice until I have more confidence and focus, even if that means I get raked to death (yay RB!!!).

Have a small sample (1,5k hands), but 2/4 on FTP is definitely beatable. Rake is around $20/100 (both players), but the opponents are really really bad. I just look for the guys who sit there with 10BB and take their buyin.

On topic: My goal is getting even, lost 150BB so far in september on 3/6 after breaking even for 16k hands in august. Think i move down or play games i think i have an edge in (HORSE, Omaha, Razz).

i had this problem on party like way back when, i only played empire. i just felt defeated with that orange/yellow background and green table.

then i got mods. i have blacked out stars tables fwiw.
