There is a show here in the UK called Have I Got News For You. A series or two back it had a story about some fight at a chess tourney between two top players and to give an example of a woman who plays chess that photo of Curtains sister was used.

fwiw i think that you have a better than usual chance of getting a call because she's new in town and looking to meet people.

unfortunately i think you have a better than usual chance of ending up on the friend ladder if she does call. and because she's new in town she won't have many friends for you to meet.

no matter what happens though your life is probably a little bit better because of this.

LOL. Actually there was a friend of mine on this Ireland trip, that my parents want me to marry now of course. It was a trip with a lot of my family members and my friend just kind of invited herself. I was glad to have someone under 60 to hang out with.



This is a good friend of mine so don't be rude. She's pretty cute just a little chunky atm, like me. I think we both might be mildly into each other, just not enough to actually make it happen. I wouldn't want to risk the friendship unless we were really into each other.

It's kind of an LA thing I think. Very hard for my midwestern family to understand. They won't stop pestering me about her.

Well when I told her the bank was 5 blocks she kind of whined. So that's when I offered. Seems a little lazy for someone who runs every day. Or maybe she wanted to ride so I would get her number. Or maybe this is the beginning of an elaborate scam. I'm on board as long as I get sexed as part of the process.

Also I have a feeling if you grow up in Brazil you have to be a little more streetsmart to size people up and realize when there's about a zero % chance you're going to get Shanghaied within 6 blocks by the beach. American girls grew up with Ted Bundy drilled into their heads. Bastard.

Yeah, maybe she'll know some hot, educated Brazil woman who needs a visa though. I'm always up for an adventure.

But I'd never go through a mail-order bride service. That's just gross. You get stuck with some farm girl who turns into medusa on you. My second cousin did that, and had to completely withdraw from the whole extended family because she was such a psycho.
