2.5 point favorites. This is the biggest game for the program since the Sugar Bowl. gogogogogo. [/ QUOTE ] This I don't understand. Not that I've been following the whole league that close, but Illinois is just outside the top 25 and Wisconsin is ranked 5th. |

Let me explain: Wisconsin sucks and their #5 ranking is a total jopke.

That game was the biggest lock ever...-2.5 seemed to make so little sense until you realize that rankings are total bs and wisconsin looked terrible in their games against weak big ten opposition.

Also, you guys have some sick, sick athletes. Illinois is going to be a force in that league for a long time.
What's funny is if you compare Illinois to Notre Dame. |

[/ QUOTE ] ty....I've waited 15 years for football to be competitive again (well, except that 2001 season where the receiving corps was just so sick and outscored everyone) Zook has brought in the players this year, most the breaks have gone their way (wish they got that mizzou game back) last year, seemed all the breaks didn't go their way still not much of a deep passing game...oh well |

The guys that he has brought in seem to be real team players. How often do you see one QB taken out, or injured and then when the replacement does well, the original QB is the happiest dude on the sideline.

[/ QUOTE ] it's the complete opposite of the way Mike White built the program in the early 80s. White brought in alot of thuggish, ruggish JC guys that ran rough shot over campus. Zook actually does try to bring in guys on a character angle. I mean, they're still football players. But, it seems he is getting as many 'nice' guys as one can for a football team. |
