i just bought ~$100 worth of meat for my superbowl party. i wanna start a thread about superbowl meat/food but im not awesome enough to start god threads, trip reports of my evening or indie music review threads so im not on the list yet, please change that.

How about a thread on books or articles that are quick reads that provide practical information or a skill. Think great articles on tax tips, under-used features of Excel, etc. Could have been done before, not sure.

Id like to talk about wings. They are a big staple of food in upstate NY and im sure in other areas. There are a buncha types and Id like to hear some good homemade recipes.

I'd like to be on "the list". Not sure if I have enough clout on here, because I'm pretty sure I'm in the background most of the time and am fairly easy to skim over. But occasionally when I'm on 2+2 on a lazy Friday night, I think I could start a good thread. Maybe the powers that be have noticed me - I'd like to think so, but who knows. If not, I'll just post in this forum. *shrug*
