There's a larger stigma surround slowrolling than other tilt-inducing actions (like showing a bluff, bad table talk, offensive screen name, etc) because it's simply more offensive to more people.

Take a live game. You get upset at a player who played a hand very poorly and won by some miracle, you let slip a comment like "nice play donkey" or something. Fine, no one has likely taken much offense. Replace that comment with "nice play [racial slur]" - and you've entered a world of pain - totally new category of offense.

So basically there's more of a stigma because of the severity of the action. Sure there's plenty of people who will do anything for a chance to make more money, but the vast majority of people set their standards higher than slowrolling. Much the same way most of the general population might stoop to attacking someone's intelligence ("idiot", "moron", etc), but would not stoop to attacking someone's race, religion, physical handicaps, etc. Those that do advertise their low level of morality/class/judgment/character for all to see.
