Re: greeting girls...
fake kiss isn't french. in france they kiss properly on both cheeks. holland it is 3 kisses. england 1.
depends on the woman i think. normal handshake is fine, and not formal or manly if you do it in a sort of jokey way. a kiss on the cheek is fine too usually. a hug is weird, i would never hug a stranger as a greeting. maybe that is just england |

Re: greeting girls...
I don't think a situation like that requires physical contact. I would just smile and say "Hi, nice to meet you" and leave it at that. Whether or not you get all touchy-feely later on just depends on how things go.

Re: greeting girls...
[ QUOTE ]
I generally go with hug but I think it seems a bit too forward. [/ QUOTE ] This post is a level, right? Yikes. What do you do when you meet guys? Do the same with girls, minus the handshake or whatever. The less interested in them you are, the more it piques their interest. If there's one you like just flash her an involuntary "I like you" look (pupils dilating - it can take a bit of practice). She'll instantly feel warm toward you and the rest is up to you. Another option for the socially awkward is to wear bling, and do gang handshakes with everyone you meet. Problem solved. |

Re: greeting girls...
How is this even a post? Just watch what normal people do, and copy them. This is tilting me.

Re: greeting girls...
[ QUOTE ]
I apologize to you if I don't seem real eager to jump into a forced awkward intimate situation that people like to call dating. I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough? Am I interested. I'm not really interested. Should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested? But I think she might be interested, but do I want to be interested, but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm getting, I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door 'cause then it's awkward, it's like 'Well, good night.' Do you do like that ass-out hug, where you like, you hug each other like this and your ass sticks out because you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss them on the lips or don't kiss them at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation. And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called 'just the tip', just for a second, just to see how it feels. or, 'Ouch, ouch you're on my hair.' [/ QUOTE ] WSSCKO (we should...) Stupid bitches had that on while i was eating their food |
