Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
god i'd prob b3b all in, as gay as it sounds, i'd lead like 1150. i almost never do this and will only do it against people who dont' know what i'm doign, but he prob thinks you're betting to find out where your at, and will raise air becuase people hate donk leads.

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I would bet 3b here, but as predicted earlier he will call and the turn will blank.
Maybe it will be a T giving you a gutter and you can't bet call so you are left in an awful spot. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
if he had been making big cbets i like c/ring to 10k straight because you would look like random good internet player w/ live donk overtones and he would fold some pairs
otherwise i would bet 1300ish and go allin next chance i got |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
dani uve told us a lot about ToS' preflop game but what is his playing style postflop? how often is he cbetting in RR'd pots where he is the reraiser, how often does he check flops, is he passive or really aggro on the turn, how light can he get it in, etc.
from what little i gather of his style, i dislike the postflop lead because he will know ur young and possibly thinking which means ur likely betting to 3bet shove, so he will often flat with a large part of his range here in an effort to outplay you. that doesnt fit in well with our exact hand, nor our assumed handrange that *does bet out into him on the flop. i am a bigger fan of checkcalling with the intention of checkshoving any turn except a king or ace or jack, where i prob cc again. and if we hit our diamond, then lead out. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
b3b is by far the best line here since he doesn't know you.
If he flat calls the flop and it bricks I would go for a c/rai usually. I am guessing however that you check raised to 4k, he called and the turn bricked. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
(only saw two post-flop replies before writing this):
he's uber agro. he's going to bet. you've got the nut flush draw. check with the intention of calling for pot control and to see another diamond. 2nd choice - check-raise to 3x his bet. it has the advantage of disguising your hand but it also limits how much you can make off the hand b/c he might fold and he might be more cautious on later streets. it might also generate a free river card. I reject check-raising all in b/c you're too deep for that. and I reject betting b/c he's agro - better to let him bet for you. |

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I immediately thought b3bet; I agree with what AsPoker and Aejones pretty much said. He sounds like the type to raise with air if you lead and then you can easily jam over the top and expect him to fold out a decent portion, unless he somehow tightens up postflop, which doesn't seem likely from his description.

Re: Street by street vs TerrorOfSweden, EPT Barcelona (Hand w/ masters
I would checkraise and push the turn. I don't want to get in a tricky situation on the turn by betting, him flat calling, and missing the turn.
