I'm planning on heading to London for the EPT - I'd definitely be in for splitting some sort of accommodation between any number of people, as long as it's reasonable. Someone PM me please or add me to aim (GodlikeRoy) and let me know what's going on in regards to accommodation.

I looked up one of the hotels listed on the EPT London site and found a room with two double beds for about 140 pounds per night. If there's a couch we could probably fit 3 people per room so although it'd be a little squashed (maybe not - depending on how big the rooms are), it's going to be very affordable and within walking distance to the casino.

i'm in barcelona, if anyone else is here give me a shout. I'm at the AB skipper.

To those of you with lots of cash, on your way out from the baggage claim there will be two signs one that says something to claim and one that says nothing. Don't go out that door! To your left is a desk and you make your claim there. They gave me [censored] for going out the door lol.

How much is "lots of cash?" Like, if i bring E3k in cash and E3k in traveler's checks do i need to claim anything?

Edit: Hopefully someone will be willing to trade online $$$ for euros if there are actually soft cash games running.

anything over 10k euros total needs to be declared. traveller's checks, cash, cashier's checks, money orders, etc all count. So if you total more than 10k euros you need to declare it. When you enter and leave.

Make sure you declare it on your way out of the states too, because if you dont and they find it on you they will prolly seize it.

Aight. Pretty sure I won't have that much on me, all told. Like I said, I'll just beg people to let me have real cash money for online money if there is a good game going. Or, I could just sell my action or something, heh.

does anyone know how laundry works there? I'm gonna have pretty much no clean clothing when I get there, so hopefully there's a decent service or just a machine I can use...
also, dress for the casino. skier, have you gone w/ tennis shoes? what about a pair of jeans that's like slightly ripped but no actual holes in it? T-shirts are fine right?

pm me or post here, whatever

one of those euro places, either Barc. or London I forgot which, specifically said shirts with collars, and no shorts. Also, tennis shoes are out at some or all of those casinos.
