The thing TV isn't telling you here is that Jerry was literally raising 80% of the hands...during the live broadcast we all thought he was on air here.

This play is so bad by Hilm, if you're going to raise, do it on the flop...

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree. He chose the wrong guy to mess with, because Yang obviously isn't afraid to make big calls.

[/ QUOTE ]

novice players are less likely to fold a hand whereas a pro can find a fold, i agree too

Hilm's play is fine given table dynamics

[/ QUOTE ]

No. It's not. I like c/r the flop with Hilm's hand or check/calling and firing on any turn card. But not check/calling and check/shoving. Hilm's line is guaranteed to only get called by hands that have him beat. Furthermore, Yang has been a total calling station and probably couldn't let it go even if he thought he was behind.

These "Hold em or Fold em" segments are stupid. Should you call with KsQs on a 10 high flop with no spades and no straight draw?

What a waste of time.

I'm still surprised that we've seen almost nothing of Lee Watkinson during this whole ME. The biggest name gets no coverage from ESPN...strange.

No. Yang was running over the table by winning pots without a showdown. He had not made any big calls at that point.
