Default Re: Poker Stars Instant EChecks

[ QUOTE ]
I checked to see if I could withdraw using e-checks again (I used this method to deposit and withdraw in the past) and I was told in an e-mail from PokerStars that I would need to re-deposit using this method in order to use it to withdraw because they have changed processors. I do not know if I would need to resend all of the documents they ask for.

Looks like I'm waiting till the next Stars bonus in God knows how many months so I can use this method to deposit, then withdraw again. I also have no problems with getting a check from Stars, it's just this method is sooooooo easy to get funds instantly in your bank account.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why wait? If there's verification and other crap you need to do, just deposit $25 and jump through the hoops now so you don't have to screw with it at bonus time.

I just tried it and was declined. A previous poster mentioned a $100 limit on the first one. I tried $200 so maybe that is the problem.

Nope $100 wouldn't fly either. So much for trying 2-7 lowball today.

Hello xxxxx,

You're unable to make an Echeck deposit at this time because your routing account number has been black listed with our Echeck processor. This was made in error and has affected a number of genuine customers. We have addressed the problem with our Echeck processor. They are working to fix this as soon as possible.

Please try to make an Echeck deposit again later or if you'd like to make a deposit right now I can suggest that you visit our web site to view our other available deposit options:

http://www.pokerstars.com/realmoney.html.

If you'd like to know more about another deposit option or you have any other questions, please email us again any time and we'll be happy to help you.

Best Regards,

Luis C

Default Does depositi affets your credit score?

Does anybody know if Poker Stars or whatever company they use run a credit check on you (since they ask for your SSN) anytime you want to deposit?

I just don't want my credit score affected because I'm depositing money to Stars.

Still doesn't work, I guess when they said try later, they meant weeks or months later.

"I just don't want my credit score affected because I'm depositing money to Stars."

They better not do that (especially without communicating this). This would be really really bad. I would strongly consider not ever playing on the site again if they did this without letting us know. And this is coming from a long time customer who thinks Stars is the best by far.

I talked to a cashier specialist about this:

[ QUOTE ]
Basically we don't affect credit due to depositing a cheque... The same as with any check. If you become a bad debt, then obv your credit will be affected when checks bounce and so forth

Basically we dont do anything different than any other company would do with regards to eChecks... the fact that we are poker is irrelevant

Test deposit of $25 worked.
If I can withdraw with this I may actually be forced to play on Stars again!

NH PS!
