Default Re: Where is the Beef?

Hassert had to fly from Wash DC to Chicago, which did not require stopping for refueling. The security need to not stop for refueling came from the Sgt. at Arms.

Pelosi is from San Francisco (you did know she was from San Francisco, didn't you?). The flight from Wash DC to San Francisco is much longer than the flight from Wash DC to Chicago. The flight would be even longer if it had to stop to refuel. How long do you want the 3rd in line for the Presidency out of touch in the air in a small jet?

Are you playing some kind of level here? This keep-repeating-the-lie is straight from the Karl Rove playbook. Next step - Blame Clinton.

She DID NOT request this jet. It was suggested to her by the Sergeant at arms as a security feature.

I stopped believing in Santa Claus a long time ago.
Only the very naive believe that Pelosi had nothing to do with trying to get that jet. The Ser-of-Arms was being a good soldier to fall on that polical hand grenade.

Besides the security story is BS. In case of national emergency, the senior members of govt are flown to bunkers outside of DC. They will NOT fly her to California in times of national emergency.... The plane that Hastert was given had plenty of range to get her to the bunkers....
