Re: It\'s been fun
[ QUOTE ]
vmacosta, I rarely post hands for the follwoing reasons. I win plenty of them with nothing or the worst hand and posting would be nothing but a brag. The hands I misplayed I know why. I thought the river was interesting here for this reason - I was 90% sure I had the best hand on the turn and made him pay for it. Yet not following up with a river bet made sense and calling wouldn't. But I had to anyway if he did. If that confuses you, it did me also. So I posted. Naturally I receive a slew of basic "3 bet pf" responses, even though I said in the OP it's nothing new, I do it also just not this time, nolo contendre (no contest). Not good enough for the superstars who have no respect for me or my game and think they have an idea what it'd be like to play against me. They have no clue. As far as how I'm still playing 50-100, here's a couple of hands that are typical of how I play but I'd never post. 50-100 Stud 8. Only 2 low cards up. I have (6s 7s) Js and limp along in EP with the other low card. He's weak passive. If I'm in LP I raise. If there's more low cards I fold. 3 way with the BI, who's a loose, bad calling station. We all brick high on 4th, I bet, they call. I low on 5th, they brick. I bet, BI calls. I low on 6th and pick up a fl dr. I bet, BI folds. I'm sure he had a weak but better hand. I win with J high and outs simply by playing their heads and their hands. 50-100 O8. UTG raises and it's folded back to me. He's agro good and has a good hand from there. But I can play his hand. I call the BB with A34Q suited A. Flop T74 I ch/c his standard continuation bet because he'll ch a turn brick with a good low hand but keep betting with AA. Turn J. Ch/ch. River brick I'll win. River T. I bet, he folds. Same as other hand. I routinely win pots with nothing by playing their heads and hands. Basically playing well. I'm far from great, but to be viewed on here as badly I'm viewed is funny. It really is. I really need to stop wasting our time here. I obviously offer nothing and get even less back. GL. It amazes me that op doesn't for a second think that his 99 could actually be beat on the QJ flop/turn/whatever.

Re: It\'s been fun
SA man you really need to just cool it. Along with your other post where you were whining about how nobody replied this is getting out of hand. Take a step back and just take everything with a grain of salt. This is a public message board, you post a hand where you played a couple streets poorly and expected people not to talk about it. I understand you don't care about that and want to focus on the river, but when the other play is so out of the box people are going to comment.
Also, 90% to have the bset hand are you kidding? |

3 betting pre is much much better than calling. It's really not close. [/ QUOTE ] Well FWIW I CC a BTN raise in the SB yesterday w88. It was a misclick and I swore afterwards... JT |

Re: Results
My 2 penneth FWIW
- Do you really think BB is telling you the truth when he says he folded TT? - When BTN attempts a steal raise do you want to be heads up with 99 (i.e. reraise), or bring BB along for the ride making it multiway? |

Re: It\'s been fun
What I don't understand from all of this is that SA calls from the SB pf, and the BB calls, and SA is specifically thinking with his postflop action "hmmm maybe I can blow BB's potential TT out of the pot?!?" How does one equate BB just calling preflop, to POSSIBLY mean "he might have TT!!!!"
