I don't want to spend 4k. Maybe somewhere around 1k, give or take depending how much I like it.

Where do you want to wear it, what else are you wearing it with (collared shirts, ties, jeans, khakis, dress pants, etc), how versatile you want it to be, how many years you want it to be wearable, etc etc etc. |

Re: Fall Fashions (and good deals on fashions!)
Hmm, well I'm a student so I won't have that many regular sportcoat-worthy events. I do plan on traveling, possibly playing EPT, so wearing it out in Europe is probably going to be the main use, as well as on fancy dates and stuff like that. I'm thinking I'll be wearing it with collared shirts and slacks, don't think I'll be doing any jean-and-tee type combinations. I'd certainly want to get as most value as possible, it should last a while and I should love it.
edit: here's an $800 Zegna that I like, not sure if I really want 3-button, and definitely not going to purchase this online, but just for [censored] and giggles: http://tinyurl.com/ysgqad |

Al, I tend to think AEs have bulbous toes compared to European shoes and when the uppers are plain they stand out more, but those look pretty good for AEs. [/ QUOTE ] advice on good places to go shoe shopping in nyc? my feet are pretty ornery, so someplace that has a bunch of nice stuff would be preferable to having to go to a bunch of small stores to find something that fits right. am i best off just going to saks or barney's or whatever? |

How do you guys go about sizing when ordering from places like these? Id be to afraid it would fit horribly. Then again, at 35 bucks I guess you cant go to far wrong. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, how are penguin polo shirts sized? I wear a L in Ralph Lauren and a 6 in Lacoste. Some people say Penguins run smaller. Should I order an L or an XL? |

KBZ!
I like blazers. What kind of pants do you wear with them? I'd like to get away from the jeans. So I was wondering. Do you wear shirt and tie? If not, what do you wear? I'd like to know what all of you guys think are cool pants for this fall excluding jeans/denim. |

Re: Fall Fashions (and good deals on fashions!)
[ QUOTE ]
What if you have a muscular build? I have the hardest time finding clothes that fit right because my chest/shoulders/arms are big and my waist is little...everything looks funny because there is so much extra fabric if I get it to fit my shoulders. [/ QUOTE ] OMG, I know this problem so well, esp. with business shirts. I'm not THAT athletic, but I have very long arms as a bonus. So when I find a shirt that has long enough arms (think oversize), there is usually way too much fabric around the waist which SUCKS. And I don't have the money to buy special designer shirts. So I'd really like to know if it's an easy alternative to have shirts "customized". |
