Public Service Announcement: BobO has been banned

BobO didn't get banned for the stuff he said in the thread. He got banned for everything he's said in sporting events the past 3-4 months.

From what I understand what he's been doing in sports would get him banned in other forums. Exiles aren't really for those who can't control themselves just because they happen to be in sports, bbv, etc. They're more about banning someone from a specific forum because the content they post is far and away not what others in there want to be wading through.

Dunno, I don't particularly care what happens since I have no feelings (good or bad) towards Bobo.

Just from the content of this thread and from the information that has been presented, the most logical closure seems to be:

Exile Bob from Sporting Events. Ban his account for a week to a month.

I could care less if you decide to keep the permaban, but from reading the thread and the facts, it seems like it wouldn't be the best decision.

I like bobo, I really do.

But read his threads in sporting events. Meb has been way patient, and given him a lot of slack. I'm not sure many other mods on this board (or any other) would have given him as many chances as he's gotten.

My solution based off glimpsing at this thread and knowing nothing else:

1) Exile from Sporting Events

2)Allow him to finish the POG game that he is running, and not post anywhere else in the meantime

3)As soon as the game is completed, his ban then begins and runs for one full week.

4)He returns, but is still exiled from Sports, with the punishment for posting in there being a permaban.

I agree with this.

However, glimpsing at this thread may not be enough to offer judgement because people keep disagreeing and such.
