Re: **Official Greatest Nintendo (NES) Game of All-Time Tournament**

Not to mention the egregious mistake of putting Final Fantasy III in the bracket, at all. etc. These seedings make little sense. [/ QUOTE ] QFT. Effort: B+ Execution: F also, putting dumb sequels like Duck Tales 2 in lieu of other games. |

no Skykid?
I spent a ton of time as a kid trying to capture hearts from the ladies by looping over them in my biplane. I loved the sound when you drop the bomb on the very middle of the base/ship/whatever.... ffffwooosshaaawwoosohhhaaaa |

also, putting dumb sequels like Duck Tales 2 in lieu of other games. [/ QUOTE ] One thing I tried to do was not put a sequel of a game if it wasn't really fundamentally different from its predecessors, or there was lots of support for both of them specifically. (For example, you won't see Adventures of Lolo 2 or 3, Adventure Island II-IV, or Ninja Gaiden II or III; even though they're all great games, they are represented by the original and they don't change much about it. You will, however, see both Zeldas, for example.) |

Re: **Official Greatest Nintendo (NES) Game of All-Time Tournament**
Yeah, as others have said, the toughest vote was having to pick Tyson over Double Dribble. Double Dribble was freaking awesome.
Battle of Olympus should have been on instead of Jaws. Jaws blew. And Duck Hunt? lol. This came with the system, so I guess the sales were huge but it shouldn't be on the list. |

Re: **Official Greatest Nintendo (NES) Game of All-Time Tournament**
So I think my replacement bracket (and list of ten or so games that just missed the cut) is ready to go. Should I fire up a new thread for it?
