Aren't his numbers far inferior to what they were last year?

[/ QUOTE ]

not far, no

last year he was basically .300/.400/.600, this year he's around .280/.385/.605. this year he is "on pace" for more HR's and RBI's.

the team is scoring runs at just about the same pace (surprising?), 5.62 to 5.60

[/ QUOTE ]

Last year the league average was .268/.328/.424. This year it's .274/.341/.438.

Who is doing the broadcast on this game for ESPN? Sounds like Steve Stone but I've never heard Steve Stone on ESPN before.

How the hell does Lester do it? Ten baserunners in five innings including a HR and he gives up one run. I'll enjoy it while lasts with the knowledge that he's way overdue for a 7 ER outing.

And to answer a question I've asked about twenty times this season, yes, Willie Harris can be more worthless.

Man, we haven't won a game in, like, a week. This sux.

This is the longest two-game losing streak ever.

Willie Harris must have compromising picures on Theo.

Now why didn't I think of that? (note: this is also a rhetorical question, and, as such, does not need to be answered).

Agon is great...wonderful range and an absolute cannon of an arm.

he makes mike lowell a better fielder as well. lowell is an overrated fielder, mostly because he has no range. what he is GREAT at is being very sure handed and accurate with throws. anything hit in his area is a caught. agonz hides his weakness and lets him maximize his strengths.
