According to my rankings, this is what I'd get in the first two rounds at each spot:

1)LDT, Deuce
2)SJax, Barber III
3)Gore, Ronnie Brown
4)Addai, Jacobs
5)LJ, Steve Smith
6)Wesbrook, Harrison
7)Parker, Edge
8)Maroney, Thomas Jones
9)Alexander, MJD
10)Rudi, Benson
11)Henry, Bush
12)McGahee, Manning

Obviously it won't work exactly like this. I will probably almost certainly go RB, RB.
Manning might go higher... Steve Smith will probably go higher... Alexander will definitely go higher... Addai, Parker and Maroney might drop farther than that...

All things considered, I think I'd group picks in this order:

(1,2); (7,8,6); (4,3,10,11); (5,9); (12)

Meh, I don't know. Comments?

Put Bush with Mcgahee and that group shoots to the top.

I am pick #10 and I have Rudi/Bush with Benson slated in my spot.....depressing.

FWIW I would most likely not take Manning at 13, and I would probably take Bush or Benson instead. I am almost certain someone in my draft will pick Manning in the first round anyway, which would probably increase the RB situation at 12/13. The reason I don't like 12 is because I hate picking at the corners, unless I'm getting LT.

if i can start 2 qbs...would it be nuts to go RB/QB/QB/RB? in the first 4 picks?

[/ QUOTE ]That's probably a good idea. I'd grab Manning 5th or 6th in this league.

Helped my brother with a draft today. 12 teams, start 2 rbs and 3 wrs, 6 pts per TD of any sorts, PPR league, 9th pick in draft

1. R Bush
2. Edge
3. Roy Williams
4. Portis
5. Bulger
6. Cadillac
7. V Davis
8. V Jackson
9. DJ Hackett
10. Brandon Jones
11. Leon Washington
12 Devery Henderson
13 B Leonard
14. A Toomer
15. S Graham
16. Raiders

I think its a solid draft, but nothing spectacular. Got good value for Portis in the 4th and Caddy in the 6th, even though we really didn't want much to do with them. After Roy Williams have a lot of questionable WRs, but I figure one will pan out and RB depth might enable a trade down the line. Not sure about the Bulger pick.

Default Rate my draft and a draft strategy question

12 team league with Yahoo scoring, except 6 pts for a passing TD. I had the 2nd pick. Starting roster is QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex W/R, TE, K, DEF

Tell me where I can improve for the next draft, where I am also picking 2nd.

Player, Position, Team (Draft Position)

S Jackson, RB, STL (2)
M Harrison, WR, IND (23)
C Johnson, WR, CIN (26)
M Barber, RB, DAL (47)
D Williams, RB, CAR (50)
Chicago, DEF (71)
T Gonzalez, TE, KC (74)
D Stallworth, WR, NE (95)
B Berrian, WR, CHI (98)
B Roethlisberger, QB, PIT (119)
L Washington, RB, NYJ (122)
A Peterson, RB, CHI (143)
B Favre, QB, GB (146)
D Jarrett, WR, CAR (167)
M Stover, K, BAL (170)
G Olsen, TE, CHI (191)

Strategy questions:

I had a hard time when the draft came back to me at the end of the 2nd. Since I was doing a value-based draft, I decided to pick up two rock star receivers, but that left me with some questionable 2nd RB and flex position availability. For my picks in the late 2nd/early 3rd, Marshawn Lynch, Cadillac, Adrian Peterson (MIN), Deuce, and Norwood were available. Any of those guys worth a pick there to get a better RB, or should I be happy with the trade-off?

My QB situation isn't ideal, but I waited until the very end. Several teams already had a backup QB by the time I picked my first. In a 6 pt/passing TD league, do I need to draft a QB earlier?

Thanks for the feedback!
