I'd like to send a nice big [censored] YOU to Elky for sitting in on my HU match on pokerstars, after i repeatedly asked him nicely to please let us continue playing HU.

F .UCK YOU.

[/ QUOTE ]
i dont know the specifics of the situation but in general if the guy you're playing doesnt care then i think you have no right to ask for hu. its a massive douchebag move that annoys me when regulars use it, to spam HU PLZ HU HU when they're playing against a big fish and another reg sits, just to try and get the other reg to leave so one can have the fish all to oneself.

I agree completely. Its embarrassing and disrespectful to the fish. And it also lets me know that the other guy is a fish and I would never sit-out in this situation.

it's not embarrassing or disrespectful to anyone. No one is saying "LEAVE STAY AWAY FROM MY FISH". obv if the fish didnt wanna play HU, he would have sat out and found another table as many do or he would pipe up and say "i'd like to play a full table"

honoring the wishes of the participants playing HU when they ask nicely is simply common courtesy. The fish stays playing HU because he's having fun, or he thinks he has an edge, or both. either way its not embarassing or disrespectful, otherwise he'd leave.

I disagree... If you were playing anybody (most likely a fish) heads up, a regular joins the table, and you say "HU plz". If the regular agrees, than I think you should show him the same courtesy. So basically, if the roles were reversed and you feel that the regular would let you play hu with the donk, you do the same.

At the same time, all of this can be ignored if you prefer not to say anything when the regular joins in on your hu match.
