Karl/Purdue,

Why don't either of you move up past $200 NL? Just the security of knowing you can beat up the game for a decent win rate without having to mess with very tough opposition? I'm sure you guys could beat higher limits.

[/ QUOTE ]

I dabble in and play bigger at times. Had I concentrated on it, I could have moved up a long time ago. Instead, I partied, traveled, and spent as much money as I could. My bankroll stayed static. I regret it now. I lost big in March.

I have spent the past 3-4 months playing lower, trying to improve. And playing limit trying to reach SuperNova Elite.

I was a losing player over 92K hands at 200NL on Stars in March. It was devastating to me, as I had over 2 million hands there as a very solid winner. As much as I wanted to blame variance, I could not.

My losses were on me. The game changed, and I had not adjusted properly.

I hope to be more responsible in my personal life and grow my poker game.

Well thats the most mature post we have had here in a while. Hopefully you are able to bounce back in the game where you feel most comfortable.

Does anyone have any opinions on my play?

Schwallie4 on stars 1/2..I have been playing really bad lately due to a huge downswing deteriorating my mind...But I am taking a week off and am wondering if anyone has any opinions on how to improve and stop losing so much..

I think lordyefc is pretty solid too

BP could easily beat 2/4 ImO.

[/ QUOTE ]

As could you so gogogogogo...but I think 2/4 is easier than 1/2, but I only have 10k hands there and only 50k hands at 1/2.

Yeah, stop minraising for no reason when there are draws out.

Already have stopped

I have no idea why I was doing that.

Not draws, but even if they have 2 outs and the board is drawy, a minraise is usually awful. Get the money in, fam.

Prodigy I think the biggest deal for you is getting used to the money. You seem to get rattled after dropping like $800 which is very normal at this stakes. Other than that you're very solid and will be fine at 1/2.
