tuq, that's true.
didn't even look by year. last two years in the playoffs kobe has been godly. still don't think he could ever match what lebron did to the pistons. |

shouldn't we also adjust kobe's stats for the fact that it's wicked easy to score points against the suns?

The only season Kobe didn't make the playoffs was 04-05, where he score 27 ppg in the regular season.
I wonder what some of the advanced stats say, but they're so scattered that you can hardly get stuff like PER or the Wages of Wins stats from one place. |

Hey, can someone other then me make an all star speculation thread? I think i've created too many NBA related threads lately
For example, someone like maggette really deserves some all star balloting. Pau Gasol does not deserve any. (At the moment) It is looking like Rashard Lewis should be a starter for the Eastern team, whereas Gilbert should not. |

[ QUOTE ] Seriously, all KG comments aside, you give Kobe a legit all-star and they run things. Kobe and KG would have [censored] all over the West. [/ QUOTE ] LOL. You don't give Kobe KG. You give KG Kobe. FWIW, I think that Kobe, LeBron, and KG are all of pretty similar value, but all behind Duncan. [/ QUOTE ] First line QFT. Second line wtf. KG may be a little behind Duncan (I'm not sold, but there's no real basis for comparison either way), but he's a step up on Lebron and Kobe. He always has been. The dude is just plain nasty, and I'm not just saying that as a Cs fan. Even though it seems impossible, KG's career up to this point is somehow underrated. And I agree with GKA that I'd rather have Lebron than Kobe. At least when Lebron shows up to play. edit: [ QUOTE ] It ain't easy beating the Pistons 1 on 5. I just think Lebron is a little soft. Kobe for his part, his mind is too strong. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with this, too, though. Kobe definitely seems to "want" it more. I hate getting into this pop-psychology bs when it comes to sports, but so far it seems Lebron will probably fall short of potential. Coasting as a 23-24 year old is sorta scary. |

yeah that's fair.
Anyway I'd rather have KG than either of them by a mile. We're talking 22/16/6 here. |

OK, I couldn't find any. But I'm sure he's totally objective about KG vs. the others.
