I don't call 32% extremely low.. mine is 36%. Try playing tighter.

i was referring to his button w$wsf, which was 22.55% over the sample.

with that said, his overall number (32.39%) is ridiculously low, yes, and 36% isn't good either. in fairness, his low w$sd indicates that he's running very poorly, and running that way causes your w$wsf to drop. 3,000 hands is a tiny sample.

if you want to wreck these games, your w$wsf must be higher. anything under 40 and your game probably has a bunch of leaks, but that's just one guy's opinion.

i should start a thread on set odds. i think our implied odds are much less than we think. i play about a 17/14 game and i get paid off on sets so much less than i would expect (and i table select decently). if i go through my PT and do some calculations i'd probably arrive at a number like 20 to 1, instead of the usual 8.5 to 1 or 10 to 1 or whatever.

I would hope you would have figured that out a long time ago!

especially multi-way you're not gonna paid off on face/x/x rainbow board unless they have overpair

dbitel/dan bitel did this math a while ago in ssnl. the conclusion was that you need something like 18:1 if you're going to give up without hitting.

yeah i remember DB's thread, but i'm thinking of going through my database and getting some empirical stuff based on a large # of hands, though it would differ for laggier players. i dunno, might be interesting. might not.

i don't think this idea has much merit; dan's thread covers everything. don't let me stop you, though.
