Re: OFFICIAL NFL Game Day Thread, 10/14
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] This Pats team is [censored] sick. The Colts can beat them because they can score nearly every possession in some games. I really see no other competition. [/ QUOTE ] If the Chargers start putting together full games they can compete. At times today they looked really good on both sides of the ball. Although other times they looked miserable... [/ QUOTE ] Chargers and Pats are about the same on 1st and 10, 2nd and 5, short yardage, etc. When its 3rd and long, Rivers will get sacked, misfire, dump it short for little gain, penalty, int. Brady will throw a perfect strike like every friggin' time to a wide open stud. |

This game was much much closer than that score shows. [/ QUOTE ] it was, but keep in mind Dallas scored 1 fluky-ish TD (the defensive one). give them credit for the sack and causing the fumble, but recovering it and running it back for 7 is pretty lucky |

That is really the difference between the teams, both are super talented--NE just doesn't make a ton of mistakes like penalties that killed Dallas ALL GAME LONG. That changed the complexion of the game. |

Randy Moss also had two TD's called back that could have went either way IMHO.

[ QUOTE ] how about randy moss, the locker room cancer and spoiled brat, not making any fuss at all when they call back that TD? on a pretty small shove, too. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah...just wait till you start losing a couple of games. [/ QUOTE ] But by then, it'll be 2011 and nobody will care. |

I'll just move on from this since Welker fumbled twice that I saw in which the ball popped right back into his hands as he fell to the ground so please stop w/ the luck talk. If you want to talk about 7 points, the absurd pass interference that put NE on the 1 yard line was basically a free 7 so there ya go. |
