[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] How do you regulars have horrible months? Month is a pretty long time, and if you can't beat 200nl in a month, then you must be a pretty bad regular. Anyone agree? [/ QUOTE ] plz be getting some surprise sodomy from variance [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] |

[/ QUOTE ] Assuming you're not leveling.... I disagree. Just in case you need it, there's lots of math to back that up. Now, that stuff isn't definitive. It does, however, make a very, very strong case that variance is a far, far bigger, nastier and hungrier beast than most of us ever give it credit for being until it's chewing on our most sensitive bits. For that matter, I see about a 30k hands break-even stretch in your own graph, which has a 3k downswing in the middle of it over about 10k hands. Now, if you play more than 30k hands per month, that's great. The vast majority of us, even those of us who consider ourselves regulars, don't. |

Re: Stars Regs Thread
55k breakeven stretch in July for me, and most of that was spent 10 buy ins below my starting point. Lucky for me I managed to put in 160k.
