Myturn,

I became curious about the hardest four game stretch so I looked at the Pac 10.

After USC plays Notre Dame, they play at Oregon, versus Oregon State, at Cal and at Arizona State. I think that's significantly more difficult than at Penn State, home against Wisconsin and Illinois and then at Michigan.

Washington is in the last game of a run playing at home against Ohio State, at UCLA, versus UCLA and at Arizona State. That's pretty tough and they lost the first 3.

Unsurprisingly there are a lot of tough 3 game stretches bookended with easy games or 3 fairly tough games with an easy one thrown in. Four credibly tough games in a row is pretty rare.

No way in hell is BC favored next week. I'd expect to see something like VT -3.

Gators are going to make this a short but sweet celebration.

Just back from the game. My son and I had an absolutely INCREDIBLE time, to say the least.

I sincerely hope you are wrong in your assesment, TFG. It should be another great game this coming Saturday. I have just read that the Gameday crew is coming to Lexington for the Florida game. Who woulda thunk it?

Les

I don't think OSU and BC have any legit shot at finishing undefeated.

[/ QUOTE ]

dude BC is favored right now in every game they have left.

i mean, they have a tough end of the schedule but saying no legit shot is just retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

I say they have no legit shot, in my opinion to win @VT, vs FSU, @MD, @ Clem, vs Miami, and a conference title game.

I don't think that is retarded at all, look at that schedule. Its not like they have beaten great teams and have showed they are some awesome team or something. Beating Wake and GT are nice wins, but they have a brutal stretch ahead of them and I think they have no realistic shot of winning all those games.

EDIT: I'm not a BC hater at all, and will probably root for them in every one of those games. I just don't see it happening, and I don't think I'm retarded at all for thinking they can't run that table.

This season is the best possible evidence for a conference-based playoff system (w/ 2 at-large bids)

meh i suppose we just view the word 'realistic' differently.

once the line for the VT game comes out, it should be somewhat easier to calculate some decent odds of them running it.

they are def not 'likely' to do it though. that sced aint nuttin nice.

LOL You guys trying to say Auburn is bad are out of your minds. We were bad earlier in the year. Now we are good to very good. Back to back road wins over Florida and Arkansas with a Vandy blowout in between. We made a lot of mistakes tonight, but those mistakes only made it close. Arkansas had less than 200 total yards, including the last drive.

[/ QUOTE ]

One of our losses was to USF who'll be ranked #3 on Monday, and we took that into overtime.

I didn't watch or hear the Miss State game. I have no idea what happened there other than Cox throwing a bunch of interceptions early and getting yanked.

Auburn is establishing a running game now. Ark. may not typically have a good D, but they stood out today. You can't say Aub. doesn't have a front line after the way we manhandled Vandy, who very nearly beat Ga. today. And today our D kept the #1 rushing offense in the SEC tied up, making them pass and their receivers can't catch.

I think we're better than our 2 losses, but still have some potential to have a crappy game. Cox was making decent decisions tonight... throwing the ball away rather than into coverage.

I like our chances next week, but it's going to be tough. There were a lot of LSU injuries late in the game today, they may not be 100%.
