Is anyone else not comfortable having someone like nation as a representative of our 2p2 community (he is the full ring forum mod)? Even if what this group is doing is 100% ok according to the terms and conditions of the site Im pretty sure most people would agree that this kind of behavior is not something that should be condoned especially by someone who is a moderator of our forums.

No, I think it has nothing to do with that. He and his friends have their own thing going and I had no part in that. As I said, I was going to stake players like that, but didn't get off the ground. My previous plans should have nothing to do with whether he bots or not.

nation and all,

I think it is very clear now that one of the following is true:

1) nlnut is botting;

2) nlnut is running a sweatshop and is thus the true owner of all the accounts.

Either one is a violation of FTP's T&C and grounds for closing all the accounts permananently. And either one is grounds for questioning nation's truthfullness. Denying botting even if true, while also denying a sweatshop/coaching situation is a lie, especially now that nation is equivocating on the sweatshop issue.

WHAT?!!!!

why not?

a +ev strat seems to be what 2p2 is all about

actually, this strat is closer to the heart of 2p2

Sklansky has always been hesitant to write about no-limit, because the mathematical, system player doesn't necessarily win. Here's a group that is doing it.

If they are telling the truth, I don't see what isn't to condone (besides not striving hard to improve themselves). They are executing a sound, +ev strategy with tremendous discipline....that is more than 95% of guys can do.

It has nothing to do with their strategy its the team play aspect, nation himself said he wanted to stake someone to enter into this team play agreement. One man one hand even if it isnt against the T&C for the site.

I know lots of people that help each other out playing poker, for example using beamyourscreen, or posting hand histories. It is of course allowed to be more than one human helping in the decision making process of a single poker hand.

kudos to nlnut for coming on to defend himself. but come on. it's so obvious when someone is tap-dancing around the facts.

Ooops to all the players who sweat and coach. I believe 100% of good players would be guilty of this, and the majority of any half-decent players.
