Isn't the Aussie football championship game coming up in like a month or so?

[/ QUOTE ]

umm, yep but you'd probably get strange looks if you called it that over here. Its the AFL Grand Final. I actually watched the 2004 grandfinal in a seedy bar in Ft Lauderdale. I didnt even realise they showed regular games on late night tv but then again I only got basic cable in the apt I was in and I never did figure out whats on what channel as the onscreen guide sucked ass. Oh and I'd love to go to a world series game. Turns out if I was there a year earlier I would have gotten the chance

anyway, I digressed but I think I answered your question.

on another matter i took some beats on the weekend
1. whilst stretching for my hockey game a stray hockey ball smacked me square on the top of my skull...no blood and it wasnt like it was coming at a million miles an hour but i was still like "wtf, what the [censored] was that! Ouch"
2. needed to take a piss during a marathon pokersession last night but I forgot that wife had just mopped the floor and end result was I slipped and smacked my hip and elbow on my tiled floor.

apart from that I had a great weekend..even had a winning poker session (standard LDO)

Unfortunately they have done away with the funny hats and butchers coats for the goal umpires in footy, now they sport a cap, polo shirt and long trousers. Perhaps that was due to the fact that they now have female goal umpires, at least I am sure one was (rather cute, methinks, so I really hope it was a she) perhaps that was only during "womens round".

But the field umpires in footy are perhaps the most athletic umpires in any sport. They constantly sprint all over the field, which is the size of a cricket field, if that is any help, for four times 20 minutes effective time.

61BB/10 at 2/4 is awesome. Stick to 2/4 or win more at showdown at 3/6 AF on last two streets is ... well ... but the sample is small.

Marchron, I'm heading for the Four Winds this weekend. Have you gotten kicked out/banned yet? If not yet, maybe look for me. I'm 5'20" and will likely be wearing the famous BBV olive "LOL Donkaments" t-shirt. Anyone else gonna be around?

Any special advice?

Oh can I drinky-drinky at the table? No booze at many Native American joints. I have 2 basic strategies for live poker play:

1.) Play NL sober
or
2.) Play LHE not sober at all
