Re: Official \"it\'s not too early to start talking about Fantasy Footba
[ QUOTE ]
kkcountry, I know he was your last pick, but keep an eye on Buckhalter. Rumor in Philly is that he might get cut in favor of Hunt. [/ QUOTE ] That's not a rumor I've heard. Philly almost always keeps three running backs, and with Moats done for the season, both Hunt and Buckhalter seem like locks at this point. I don't see any way Nate Ilaoa makes the team. On the other hand, I think you're right that he should keep an eye on the situation, because it looks like Hunt may have found himself a job as the short-yardage back, making him more valuable than Buck. |

Teams #2 thru #5 at end of regular season go thru playoffs week 14,15 to be the other team in the SuperBowl. PM ME ASAP if interested. Thanks CDS |

Getting "stuck" with Vince Young would have been fabulous. It's not like there's really that much difference between Romo and Favre, Leinart, Cutler, Roethlisberger, Leftwich, etc.

In hindsight, taking Chester Taylor and settling for Leinert might have been a safer/smarter play. |

Re: Official \"it\'s not too early to start talking about Fantasy Footba
4_2_it, if Harrison + S.Smith + who knows were still available, then I would have definitely selected another RB and grab a WR on the way back. 18 RBs gone mean there's still some of Edge, Jacobs, Brown, Cadillac, T.Jones, MJD, Henry available. With your Moss pick, was Peterson still available? If you only start 2 WR and locked in 2 excellent studs, yet are weak at RB- I would rather shore up in the RB department. At least Moss has upside though.
10th QB taken = only 2 teams looking for a starter. You might as well wait it out... as another poster said- there's little difference between Young/Kitna/Ben/Leinart/Cutler/Romo/ Hasselbeck/Smith/etc. Most sites have Young outscoring Romo anyways w/4pts a td. The difference between all of those QBs will be around 20 pts at most.... so you reached for a chance to outperform another QB by a pt/week. |

His at best = RBBC with Peterson, his worst = back-up. ADP has been excellent in preseason. |

My plan is to start Moss in the flex position. I am usaully teh guy with too many RBs and Chris Chambers as my #1. I guess this year will be just have to be like 1991 when I rode Cris Carter, Sterling Sharpe, Ben Coates along with some rookie named Faulk to the Fantasy Bowl.
