A friend of mine is actually pretty religious. Not the overzealous fanatic kind of type, though. I didn't know until I called her at a Sunday and she was whispering in her phone because she was in church, and I was like; WTF?

I have always been hating on religion, but she made me realize I can just disagree upon the topic and let them be. As long as they don't try to blow [censored] up or convince me to become a believer I'm ok with it. I do think religion is useful when people are in a bad situation (for example, very poor countries with lots of starvation), since religion can provide hope in such cases, where rationalism and science can't really help.

One thing I hate about catholicism is that it actually kills so many trough HIV because of the ban on anti-conception [censored].

I'm just amazed to see how many people think religion is harmless and don't see the damage it does. Religion is the stupidest, most [censored] up thing on the planet. It does so much more harm than good, but at least it offers false hope.

Anyway, I really don't want to argue it, that's just my two cents.

Lumping everyone together is obviously the way to go these days. Would you say buddhist monks are damaging? Would you say it to a native American?

Did you really weighted all pros and cons and came to that conclusion or just took someone else's opinion?

Making a big incendiary claim like this, without offering any evidence or logical reasoning and then saying you refuse to discuss is it [censored].

Probably a dumb question, but does printer ink drain faster if you leave the printer on? Cause our color ink drained really fast and we like never print anything out in color.

Bump.

Orange, this is why I never post in the life thread.
