Im a child brought up in my formative teen years on TNG. But i hate the orig series.

You are wrong.

Friends suffered from the fact that it had like 10 jokes it repeatedly used in a slightly differing scenario.

In fact, i could probably go through all the jokes, starting with Chandler is bad with women and ending at we were on a break, via Joey is a bad actor (who ironically is acted by a guy who is actually a bad actor)

Sure, it had its moments - but the fact is for a series spanning 10 seasons, 236 episodes and around 87 hours of screen time you can have the worst writers and actors (i use the term loosely) and you cant fail to produce real comedy on occassion.

The fact remains however it isnt even close to being "the sitcom of our generation" let alone of all time. You can love it all you want, but whatever your tastes in comedy EVERYONE has a show they liked better than Friends.

Friends is my favorite sitcom of all time. For some reason, it cracks me up. The actors have great chemistry diversity and it just works.

Also, I think Seinfeld SUCKS. Its not even funny. It shouldnt even be called a sitcom, cause its not very comical. I honestly dont even laugh like once per episdoe. Im like this is just stupid, how can people think this is funny? Terrible show.

Everyone has different tastes. But for you to list Friends as your fave sitcom of all time and to say Seinfeld isnt remotely funny its clear our opinions differ vastly.
