ship it to Peru. You totally pwned the final two tables. Thanks to shortstack wanting an exta 600 in the four handed chop peru made an extra 2.5k!!

I'm hoping to FT one of these micro rebuys soon. But I can never seem to get it going after the 2nd break. With 10k I'd defintely be in vegas RITE QUICK>

ARRRRRRRGH! God this is [censored] ridiculous, I need to vent. I know for you big shots it's "statistically irrelevant", but for a casual player like me, this is a massive [censored] cooler. I just lost my last 8 straight games, and have lost $115 over the last 30, playing $6.5s. That's a third of my bloody bankroll. It's [censored] ridiculous too, of the games I played tonight and last night, I didn't win a single coinflip, and I've even lost more than half of the pots where I've dominated the other player. In one of them, I made it all the way to 5-handed and didn't win a single pot the whole time, finally get it in with AQ vs AJ and lose. It seems like every time I get a big hand and raise it, it's reraised and I either call, dominate and still lose, or correctly fold a hand where I would have been dominated, and end up losing my initial raise and have to sit around again waiting for another big hand that I'm just going to lose with anyway.

how many sngs are you playing at once? When I start losing a few, I cut back to 4 tables until I start winning again.

Unique, try screaming into your pillow until you get light-headed and pass out. That sometimes turns my luck around.

I never play more than 4 tables at a time, and most of these games were only 2-tabling. The last 8 that I played were single-tabling, and I even dropped to $3.40s for the last two of those.

Yeah. And not just up to $16s either, what a waste of time. Might as well take it all and buyin to a $225. /sarcasm.
No, I'm going to be intelligent and move down to $3.40s for a bit until I've regained my confidence a bit and get back to running normally.

Well the point is the $3.40s from what I understand really don't play that much different than the $6.50s. And the rake sucks. If you have a job and can afford to lose $100 once in a blue moon (as you said this is a once in a lifetime downswing). I don't think moving down to ultra-micro-stakes and one-tabling is necessarily the answer. I think posting a lot of hands, cultivating IM/IRC/etc relationships to discuss hands, and finding a coach would all be much better moves if you're serious about improving. BR management is one part of poker, but it's not the only part.

Just my wacky opinion.
