Oregon's offense is scary, scary good. Discuss.

[/ QUOTE ]
Dennis Dixon came into the day ranked third in the nation in pass efficiency, has passed for at least one touchdown in every game this year, and has run for a touchdown in every game this year.

With JJ injured, Jonathan Stewart put the team on his shoulders today, and ran for 251 on 32 carries. He now has 940 yards this year on 131 carries.

Healthy receivers? We don't need no stinking healthy receivers. We feel the same way about defense. GO DUCKS!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

I think Oregon has to be kicking themselves more than any other 1loss team right now. What were they -4 in turnovers vs. Cal?

I assume when someone is going out of bounds and they dive forward with the ball, the ball should be spotted where it crosses the out of bounds line and not way up field if they land there? Because the Virginia guy was definitely short if that is the rule.

[/ QUOTE ]

the ball can go out of bounds as long as you aren't down

[/ QUOTE ] So you can dive out of bounds but gain several yards while over the out of bounds line so long as your body doesn't touch? Dunno if you saw the play and that could be the rule but I wouldn't make it that. Probably need an MS paint to describe well.

Oh no, if you jump oob you're down wherever the ball is when you cross.

For a team like LSU that gets top recruits, you'd figure they could get receivers that actually catch the god damn football.

What about the 21-0 choke vs. Tennessee a couple years ago?

-4 in turnovers in the fourth quarter vs. Cal, to be precise. *sigh*

If we don't do that we're definitely getting first place votes right now... possibly even enough to be IN first place. At least with the Cal loss today we control our own destiny in the Pac Ten again...
