thats a whole lot of great players telling him to c/f SECOND (not bottom) set in a raised pot. There are spots guys, but its going to be very situation dependent and its pretty hard to tell in most of the hands posted in this forum.

First ever post in NVG and it gets deleted...

Anyway, it seems that Pavarotti (rest in peace) as well as being a great singer was a keen poker player.

In other news I am being lazy today and have played about 4 hands in total.

Yeah I do that was just a drunk post.

I didn't expect anything to go down with this girl, she is just a friend. And if somehow something did start to happen I'd have to stop it...eventually

This hand annoyed me a bit, and I think marked the lowpoint of a still-running 15BI downswing

Post titles have a lot to do with the advice that's given. For instance whenever someone has a title like "Am I ever good here?", you start only seeing monster hand ranges for villain in replies. I know I have been guilty of tipping off results in either the title or in whatever I type about the hand, and I wish more micro players would stop doing this.

This gives a warm fuzzy feeling that people still do this at 200NL. Who said the games had dried up?

This is an excellent point! Descriptive subjects will get you a lot more response then generic ones, particularly for unusual or difficult situations but you really should just be objectively describing the current action or situation. Avoiding editorialising is key to getting untainted replies.
