8th pick, 12 teams
qb, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, TE, flex -any rb/te/wr, k, def, 15 rounds
Willie Parker Mo-Jo Drew Terrell Owens Deuce McAllister Matt Hasselbeck Calvin Johnson DeShaun Foster Kevin Curtis Ben Roethlisberger Michael Pittman Craig Davis Minny D Panthers D Jason Elam Marcus Pollard [only 1-2 other TEs taken last 4 rounds, I will probably grab another guy off waivers fairly soon, like Celek.] I really like my starters, the upside of Craig Davis, and ability to rotate Deuce/DeShaun/Curtis at the flex, with good RB depth. Weak at TE obviously. Probably above-average D. I think Drew, TO, and Calvin J are examples of players with ability to score a lot of TDs but who are also risks to underperform. TO at 32 was a bargain, imho, he was the 9th WR taken. This is my 3rd year in this league and the champ is going for his 4th in a row. Impressive. His guys never, ever have gotten injured. Is my team good, bad or ugly? |

Re: Official \"it\'s not too early to start talking about Fantasy Footba
Rate my sister's draft Most is through me by phone, I had no idea how many teams, but she had the first pick for the second year in a row. Standard league but they can start a 4th WR instead of TE
1. Tomlinson 2. Ronnie Brown -She wanted to take Brees here or with the next pick, yikes 3. Reggie Wayne I told her to take Housh or Reggie here. I was pretty torn, and was leaning Housh, but she really wanted Wayne for some reason. Smith, Harrison, CJ, TO, Holt were all gone 4. Driver -ugh, really hope this doesn't hurt her. She wanted someone else, Andre Johnson I think, but obviously Driver was the better pick 5. Lee Evans 6. Ahman Green 7. Matt Hassleback 8. Vincent Jackson 9. Jon Kitna Can't remember past here, but I really need to change my league selection. |

Re: Official \"it\'s not too early to start talking about Fantasy Footba
She got three of the top 10 WR, the top back, a pretty good rb2 and decent qb options. Her team is probably the favorite.

Never did fantasy football before. Rate my draft. 1 point per 25 yards & 4 points per TD. Rushing and Receiving: 1 point per 10 yards & 6 points per TD 1. (3) Joseph Addai RB I would have preferred Gore, not going to split hairs 2. (22) Marvin Harrison WR 3. (27) Ronnie Brown RB 4. (46) Donovan McNabb QB I personally think it's too early for McNabb here 5. (51) Anquan Boldin WR 6. (70) Joey Galloway WR 7. (75) Chris Cooley TE 8. (94) Jerricho Cotchery WR 9. (99) Ben Roethlisberger QB This also seems a bit early for Roethlisberger, I'm looking for RB depth here or where you picked Cooley 10. (118) L.J. Smith TE You don't need 2 TEs, RB here 11. (123) Chester Taylor RB 12. (142) Ladell Betts RB 13. (147) Green Bay DEF 14. (166) Amani Toomer WR 15. (171) Jason Elam K How'd I do? Who should I be looking to trade? What positions do I need to improve? [/ QUOTE ] I think you waited too long to pick up some backup RBs. Your two backups are probably on the worse end of the RBBC. You probably could have picked up someone like Housh instead of McNabb, a good backup RB where you got Cooley, and been fine with LJ and a QB like Kitna or Hassleback |

Re: Official \"it\'s not too early to start talking about Fantasy Footba
Just a quick tip. It always helps when you list the # of the teams in the league when you want a draft grade. A good draft in a 10 team league can look much worse when it's viewed in the context of an 8 team league.

I don't like MJD, but that is just personal opinion that I don't feel he will get more than 10-15 touches a game and that 16 TD's was just variance last year. |

Spellmen,
Thanks for the input. I really didn't know what I was doing and I think I could've done better. BTW, it was a 12-team draft. |
