anybody know of any other stories of farha doin crazy [censored] like this?
rugby does seem like he has something to prove, wonder wat sammy thinks about him after these 2 sessions. I remember farha asking barry greenstein on that last hand on hsp when he hit his set with KK vs the AA if he wanted to run it twice, knowing barry greenstein doesnt run anything more than once. he knows brian wouldnt flip for 450k, sammy is in his head!! and how the [censored] did that youtube video get on fulltilt?????? |

Sammy and Brian finished yesterday around 6pm. They were suppose to resume at 11pm and play with PA, but when PA got there, no game was going on.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] You guys keep saying Farha is the sick degen, did you miss the part where Brian wrote that he would have done a 450k if he had more money on him. [/ QUOTE ] thats because sammy wanted to gamble on a -ev spot and aba had an edge in this spot. if aba had enuf mone to cover him for the rest of the serie why woudnt he take sammys offer in this spot??? [/ QUOTE ] Explain to me how you can have an edge in a blind omaha coin flip? [/ QUOTE ] it was +ev for aba and -ev for farha. if aba had a roll of lets say a billion. u dont think hed sit their and run tis same spot with sammy over and over? lol [/ QUOTE ] There are better gambles out there in life imo than a small edge like that. Obviously they aren't as short term as the one minute it'd take to deal out the cards though. |

GS, Who knows? Maybe he was serious, in which case I can help out. I just found it hilarious that he seemed sorta defensive about his gambool/balla status after having a 1.2M downswing and coming back from that in a game bigger than most anyone will ever play in their life. [/ QUOTE ] I thought I saw that between the lines. I think he was serious. Seriously happy that he played his way out of being stuck a million dollars. I LMAO when I read that BS. He’s playing a very high variance game with a guy that most experts say is the very best short handed high stakes PLO player on the planet and he won’t take a coin flip with a little vigg. Face it rail birds, Brain just pulled off the great escape from being stuck Andy Beal type money and said screw it I’m done. Hell, it’s better than even money that Sammy would have loaned him the total bet until he could get home and make the transfer. They should have sold it to HBO for a pay per view special. Way better than Boxing. GS |

poker's not chess. there are no incomprehensibly subtle positional sacrifices in poker. at high stakes, esp big bet, the dominant determiner of success, I think, (once you get the basic fundamentals) is how patently fearless you are of losing gigantic amounts of money in the blink of an eye. who actually has the edge there? [/ QUOTE ] no wonder notaima's been hacking up the nosebleed stakes for the last while! |
