There aren't a lot of occupations, outside possibly the prostitutorial arts, where you can make $800 in a weekend and want to kill yourself over it. [/ QUOTE ] That word made me lol. |

I don't hate Subway at all - in fact I eat there more than any other fast food place. I'm just saying your food was fine.

They don't keep the meats on ice but there is a refrigeration system in place.

Update: I went to Subway. [/ QUOTE ] Pussy. I've gotten food poisoning a number of times and it has never been from food I've prepared myself. Fast food kitchens probably look like something out of Invader Zim if yo ucould see all the TERRIBLE DELICIOUS HUMAN FILTH!!!!! in them. I have very low standards of food freshness compared to most people. |

Once you start thinking something might not be good to eat (like spoiled) you're probably going to regret eating it.

Re: OT: [censored] thread, August, READ RULES IN TOP POST
So a buddy of mine hears about this awesome soul food place in Harlem. We grab the A train up there to try it out only to find that it had been closed three days earlier by the department of sanitation and health.
Both of us were pissed. I was of the opinion that the government is not really doing me a favor by closing down such an establishment on those terms. I mean, I've been to some scuzzy restaurants in my time. I know when I'm eating nasty [censored]. But it's my choice. If they want to put a warning label on the outside of said restaurant that says I could easily catch ebola from trying the ribs, well so be it. Same department closed down a good poker club in the city too. Makes me want to be a libertarian. |

Honestly, this whole discussion has got me thinking about the sailing vessels in the 18th century. Didn't those sailors go months eating only salted beef? |
