there's like a zillion A6/A7/56/ss/wutever hands that people semi with on the turn, not to mention the face that a lot of people are going to float and raise turn with absolutely nothing some of the time. an unknown's range here is ridiculously wide, and we are oop.

well player is not unknown as stated above if I have stats on him. reads is wrong word, yes, but you're being a nit now.

For the record, I'd rather shove than call here because what are we gonna do on the river if we hit spades/two pair/trips? Check two pair and trips, open shove spades? We're just in a bad spot on the river when we hit, and we're in a bad spot when we miss. I think the turn is shove or fold after he raises us.

Also, to those saying c/c turn... lol?! What are we hoping he bets for us other than a complete float? Also, leads me to the question above, do we check/call and shove when we hit spades, and then c/c when we hit two pair and trips?

Sorry for being a nit, but you just can't say he's 15/12 so he's not an unknown.

i know it's BvB...but against a 15/12 w/o further reads, I think the turn is more of a fold after he raises us because against such a player we have no FE. He's not likely to have floated you with 86s on the flop, and he's not raising you with a weaker Q. I suppose you could shove over this but I don't think he'll be folding very often, and all the times he's calling you can probably be sure that you'll be behind. As played, I think don't think we're good here enough to call the river, but I don't think I would fold this in the moment.

Why not C/C the turn?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because thats a pretty great turn card for us, and villain hasn't shown signs of having a better hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah but betting still does turn your hand into a bluff doesnt it?

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this a level? Or do you mean vs. this villain?

Many villains could have many worse hands that they will call here with.
