Is "right reverend" close enough?

On one hand, I've heard this all before: every time a new person comes in and trolls libertarians frequently, they are labeled a troll. Many of you have cried wolf one too many times and frankly, you're going to have to get used to the idea that there are reasonable arguments in the other direction and frankly, I like how Midge has counterbalanced the Paul fans recently.

On the other hand, I respect the opinion of people like Vulture and I now agree that Midge is a problem. However, since I haven't even warned Midge about this kind of thing, I can't ban him. I'll go through some of his posts and work with him on being less annoying.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have yet to see a case of someone being accused a troll who wasn't. On the other hand, I have seen plenty of people critical of libertarian positions that were never accused of being trolls (because they are there to make discussion, not derail it through trolling). For example, take Copernicus. He may be an idiot and wrong, but he isn't a troll. MidGe and BluffThis! are classic trolls, just trying to derail discussion and just piss off as many people as possible for just that purpose.

I'm amazed at Iron's position on this.

1. Iron tells Midge to not start another thread for a week
2. Midge spite-starts another thread
3. Everyone knows Midge is gonna get temp-banned
4. ???
5. Profit

Iron is clearly biased. He bans me for something that's been on CNN yet somehow is considered 'extreme hyperbole', and when someone endlessly trolls against Ron Paul, nothing happens.

I was accused of being a troll by several ACers months ago.

Do you think I'm a troll?

Definitely not. You are an honest debater. Perhaps you are right, there are a few people who cry wolf.

Give us a break. If anything, iron goes too far in bending over backwards to "protect" RP supporters from opposing views. And I am quite sure that your were banned for a pattern of conduct, and not for one thing "that's been on CNN".

At the time I think Iron said something like "Niels has racked up 8 or so temp-bans in the past few months, mostly for things like this (bad posts/trolls/etc), goodbye Nielsio" Or something to the effect. Niels had his chances.

but come on... trolling people who think AC will actually work is so much fun!

if I could post:
I am an anarchist
Don't know what I want
I know how to get it

and

Ron Paul would fix that imo

and

Ron Paul has a chance to win polling at 5%

in every politics thread just to see the seething I would
