[/ QUOTE ] yeah john this is weird to think about. i mean, 12 tabling 400nl for 6ptbb is kind of nice but i kind of think i could maybe still 24 table 200nl for like 4ptbb and make more money. it sounds weird but dropping down to play more tables might actually have better $/hr implications for me. i wonder if some people will actually do this. i think this might have a profound impact on specifically full ring games at stars (more games running, players dropping limits to get in more tables). even if guys at 2/4 start 16 tabling it will likely mean there are more tables playing which means more fish will sit. i've always theorized that the average megadonk fishy fish just sits at the nearest open table and doesnt care if its 9 max or 6 max (but maybe even prefers 9 max because its what the "casino" is like) but due to the full ring tables constantly being waitlisted they just sit at a six max. know what i mean? this could be good!

[/ QUOTE ] If I decide to do this, I'll probbaly shoot for 140k hands/month which would put me at elite by the end of the year. At 1000hands/hr(18tabling), this is working ~35hrs/week. 25hrs/week if I can figure out how to 24table [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img].

[/ QUOTE ] I'm probably gonna stack up on 1/2 tables, and just join the good 2/4 games. I'll probbaly end up play 20% 2/4 if I decide to do this. Interesting theory, and I think you're right. I know every time I just want to gamble (shortstack 10/20 or something), I just look for the first open table and join up. A lot of times all the good FR games have wait lists 4 or 5 deep. No way a rec. player is gonna wait for that.

first, i noticed i had 13 tables and thought i was special..a gift from the poker gods! then it occurred to me to check 2+2 and i realized i wasnt. at least for those 2 minutes i felt on top of the world.
second, i went up to 14 (my computer needs to be tested cuz i dunnon how much it can handle) and it felt no different. i plan to make gradual increases. dunno if i will ever go to 24 though...thats a little intense. im most excited because with holidays i was worried about hitting supernova...now it should be ezpz. i dont really understand why stars gave in though?!?! and im curious how this will effect play at all limits based on what has been mentioned (dropping down and playing more tables). my general feeling is just discomfort. will the regs playing 24 make the games harder? will i blow my roll playing 24? will journeyman get cancelled?
