And you believe this decline happening at the same time competition in nearby states opens is a coincidence? And that more competition will increase AC revenues? Okay.

[/ QUOTE ]
I try not to believe anything, but rather draw reasonable conclusions from the numbers.

"Correctly interpreting them is a different story, and those that can do that get paid a lot of money."
I spent 12 years crisscrossing the country as a high stakes advantage player employing disciplines including, but not limited to, counting, shuffle tracking and holecarding. I've played in every casino in every state with high limits and a beatable game. I know what a cluster of toilets looks like when I see one. AC is a cesspool and will continue to decline. People have been waiting for a reason to leave that slum for a decade. It's the worst casino center in the country, bar none.

I have degrees in accounting and business administration. When I played I wouldn't get out of bed for an ev less than 125/hr and regularly played games worth 300, 400, 500/hr and occasionally more. For the last 2 years I've been working on an automated currency trading program with my partner. He was a bond trader with a seat on the Chicago Exchange for 20 years and has, among other endeavors, traded a $250mm account for George Soros. We had to create a new language for our programmer to implement the strategy.

So, tell me, just out of curiosity, what do you, as a numbers cruncher, consider "paid a lot of money". You have my undivided attention now.

I'm happy for your partner. Obviously you're making a lot of money, if what you say is true, but it's also obvious from what you're writing that you're not making that money from your ability to properly interpret financial data.

You may be right about AC being a cesspool, but you're not drawing that conclusion from the data showing month-to-month decrease in revenues. My guess is that you have personal disdain for AC (no argument with that), and are throwing in a bunch of numbers which you hope will support your personal opinion.

I reiterate, what's your idea of "a lot of money" for "correctly interpreting them"? Maybe I wasted 12 years and my degrees.
I just like posting the numbers and watching who jumps to the defense of the casinos. It's those people who created my opportunities in the casinos.
