I guess I'm one of the few who likes Jamie Gold more and more with each episode. If it really was 10 minutes there is nothing wrong with him calling a clock. After his WSOP win I really disliked him, but now he is starting to grow on me.

As for the show generally, all you people who are complaining about the bad play should realize that this show has never been about watching good poker. If you want to see good poker and learn something download a cardrunners video. This show is about watching interesting characters exchange large sums of money. It is entertainment, not education. Thats why Townsend didn't get invited back and Galfond got cut from day 3.

Any guesses on why Safai's hand was shaking so badly on that last hand?

I can think of about 300000 reasons why.

People like to act and talk tough but 300K is a lot of fuxing money. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

For what it's worth, when Jamie brought up the clock and Phil said "How long have I taken?" and a few other players, (I think Daniel and Jenn) said "A long time, Phil". So maybe it was longer than what they actually showed on TV if they were agreeing with Gold.

From a poker a perspective i thought the play was horrible, if i wanted to watch people play like this i'd open up some party tables.
