[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] IMO $40/hr is a fantasy for 99% of uNL. [/ QUOTE ] Well you need to be able to play 100NL ... but that isn't impossible with a some effort Tho I might be overestimating how easy poker is ... dunno ... ??? [/ QUOTE ] You are, trust me. [/ QUOTE ] Try to think back to when you started playing poker professionally. What was your hourly then? How quickly did it increase? How much better now are you than then? |

Re: Obsessed with Microstakes
A typical amateur could play
50k hands per month @ 2PTBB/100 which is pretty bad but I'd say doable with some work @ 100NL = 1) around 800$ in rakeback 2) 2k $ 80 hands/table/h for a conservative estimation = 625 tables per hour So if you 6.25 table you play 100 hours 2.8k / 100 = 28$/h I'd guess most people can 8 table without too much trouble after a little practice so 625/8 = around 78 hours of play 2.8k/ 78 = around 36$/h --------- Simpler version: 2PTBB/100 if you 8 table at 80 hands/hour: 640 hands/hour = 12.8PTBB + 0.8PTBB/100 in rakeback = roughly 18PTBB/hour = 36$/hour |

Re: Obsessed with Microstakes
To get a MT Ratio of 8, you would need to 9 table. Not that this is any harder.
