O'Reilly won the debate based on the format, even though Paul won it on the merits. It's was somewhat ridiculous after O'Reilly failed to debate if our policy was enhancing Iran since that's Paul's entire position (not to mention him disregarding history).

Paul should adopt some hybrid foreign policy for the Middle East. If he would of said, "I think we should withdraw from the cities, stop being the police, secure the Iraqi border, let them fight their civil war, and win the hearts of the youth in Iran instead of unifying the country against us" then O'Reilly couldn't say one word...

Instead, Paul comes off as naive even though he is right.
